JOE BULMAN
VP OPERATIONS
Joe is a senior technologist with experience in a variety of industries on a broad range of technology platforms. He has played key roles in the architecture, development and commercialization of projects ranging from geospatial technologies, high performance computing, big data analysis, software defined networking and highly scalable cloud computing. Joe graduated with honors from the Electrical & Computer Engineering and Electronics Tech programs at the University of Calgary and Southern Alberta Institute of Technology respectively. Joe is also an outdoor enthusiast and can’t get enough of all the outdoor pursuits that Calgary has to offer.
KHALED ELBITAR
VP DEVELOPMENT
Khaled is a senior consultant skilled in managing the full life cycle of development and implementation projects with a focus on delivering business value. Khaled’s key areas of expertise include successful project management delivery, budget planning and tracking, Agile coaching, methodology implementations, effective leadership and mentoring, and best practice architecture. Khaled’s key to successful delivery has been relying on innovative approaches supported by strong relationship management skills and a keen attention to detail.
MICHEAL GADDE MA(DEM)
PRESIDENT
Michael has over 30 years of experience in Emergency Response, Management, and Planning that is based on both his education and extensive experience. Michael has a Master’s degree in Disaster and Emergency Management, he is a Certified Firefighter and an Emergency Medical Technician (NFPA 1001, 1002, and 472).
In addition, for the past 20 plus years Michael has been writing and developing Environmental Emergency (E2) Plans in compliance with Federal Government Environment Emergency Regulation. He was also representative for the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers during the 2019 E2 update process.
WAYNE HEIKKINEN (ABCP)
VP STRATEGIC PLANNING
With over 20 years of experience in Emergency Response, Management, and Planning Wayne brings an expertise that is based in both his education and extensive experience within Western Canada and as a member of a corporate global response team. Wayne is a member of the DRI, active member on the CSA Z246.2 technical committee and holds ICS 400 from JIBC. A strong believer in collaborative, regional planning and incident management, most recent work includes both municipal and industry regional emergency management programs.
